Senior Underwriter Agriculture / Swiss RE

Isabel Ponce de Leon joined Swiss Re in 2009 working in the Seguradora Brasileira Rural- UBF (Company acquired later by the Swiss Re Group), and moving to reinsurance team in 2012. She has been working in the reinsurance sector with emphasis on the agribusiness as senior agro underwriter for the Latin America region. Additionally, she supports the Public Sector Solutions Team in Brazil. Isabel has more than 10 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry with focus on the agro sector and its sub lines of business such as crop, forestry, aquaculture, livestock and greenhouse. Isabel has a degree in Veterinary Medicine and MBA in Agrobusiness.
