Senior Researcher / EURAC Research

Massimiliano Pittore is senior researcher at EURAC Research. He has a M.Sc. in Physics and Ph.D. in Information Science and Systems Engineering, and 12+ years of experience on research on risk related to natural hazards in several continents. He was previously in the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ-Potsdam) and since 2020 is coordinating an interdisciplinary research group on Climate and Disaster Risk in Bolzano, Italy (when he´s not outdoor enjoying the Dolomites).
