Senior Data Scientist / World Bank

Mersedeh Tariverdi is a senior data scientist for a health, nutrition, and population global engagement team at the World Bank, which works at the intersection of resilient health systems and climate change. Her work centers on data-driven decision making in health that considers future uncertainties. This work helps World Bank teams and clients employ Artificial Intelligence methods to inform projects preparation and implementation strategies, as well as data-informed monitoring. Mersedeh holds a Ph.D. in applied mathematics and statistics, specializing in health and infrastructure system resiliency and capacity enhancement.
