Associate Professor / Istanbul Technical University

Seda Kundak (PhD, 2006) has been working as associate professor at ITU. Her research interests are urban risks, risk perception and disaster logistics. She contributed to ENSURE (FP7), SUS.DIV (FP6) and ISMEP projects and she conducted Spatial Hierarchical Organization of Humanitarian Logistics Project. She is an active member of Society of Risk Analysis (SRA). She was elected as a member of executive board of the SRA-Europe between 2012-2020 and she worked as president between 2017-2019. In 2017 she received Distinguish Lecturer award by SRA. Currently she has been enrolled to PARATUS Project (2022-2026) as ITU team leader.
