Tiago Falcao is a World Bank Consultant specialized in social protection and jobs issues. He has a master’s degree in Economic Development from Unicamp. For 25 years he has served in several positions at the Brazilian government. In 2011 he was nominated head of the National Secretariat of Income, in charge of Bolsa Familia Program. In 2012, he assumed the mission of coordinating the Brazil without Extreme Poverty Plan. Under his leadership, Bolsa Familia Program was recognized as one the most effective and the best targeted CCT in the world.
