Professor / ICT/UNESP and Cemaden

Victor Marchezini https://victormarchezini.weebly.com has studied the sociology of disasters since 2004. He worked as a disaster analyst in the monitoring room of the Brazilian Warning Center for Natural Hazards (Cemaden) (2012-2014). Since 2014 he is researcher at Cemaden. Victor is a professor at the Doctorate Program on Earth System Science at the National Institute for Space Research, and at the Graduate Program on Disaster (ICT/UNESP and Cemaden). Currently, he is visiting postdoctoral researcher at Natural Hazards Center, University of Colorado Boulder (funded by São Paulo Research Foundation).
